What we do
Twice a year we host a Scholastic Book Fair – our own little book store for 3 days ! For the 2017/18 school year the Fair has been tentatively for September 2017 and February 2018. Check our Calendar to find out exact dates.
How we do it
Scholastic Books drops off their books for us in boxes and shelves and we, as a community, set-up our own little book store and staff it with the help of parent and student volunteers.
What you can do
You can do several things to support the Meadowbrook Book Fairs:
- Visit the book fair before school, during lunch, after school, during family book nights and purchase books – supporting our young readers at Meadowbrook.
- Look out for ‘Teachers’ Wish Lists’ and purchase a book as gifts for the classroom.
- Volunteer for a shift to help set-up, take down, organize and sell books.
