The Meadowbrook learners were exceptionally creative in their ‘Fun with Food’ Hot Lunch activity this month. Learners celebrated Japan’s November Health and Sports Day with a sushi lunch and a Fun with Food activity to draw or write a story about food playing sports.
The creativity in the stories and art submitted showed how fun and imaginative our Meadowbrook learners are. Our raffle winner, Adelina from division 6, showed us how apples, pears and bananas would look playing soccer – winning a free Hot Lunch for November. Honourable Mentions went out Timothy (division 3), Nina (division 7), Sean (division 2) and Callum (division 9) for their stories of ‘active food’ – each winning a free treat at the next Treat Day on November 30th. Take a look at all the entries on our Gallery page.
Look forward to seeing our next entries in November when we can look forward to a Hot Pizza Lunch.
Special THANK YOU to our parent volunteers who helped make our Hot ‘Sushi’ Lunch possible !
